Update #8 Pastor Mathews – Our Missionaries in Ecuador and Subash in India
Many of you have asked about our missionaries in Ecuador and Subash in India. I have spoken with both families. In Ecuador, there is a 2 pm daily curfew. The country is virtually on lockdown and Johnny and Donna have been in the house for 8 days. The airport is closed and there is no traveling from state to state. The people can only go out once a week for essentials such as grocery shopping. They are doing well and said that they have food and lots of oatmeal.
Subash told me that the country of India has implemented a 21 day complete lockdown. You can only go out for essentials such as food and emergencies. He says it would be something like Martial Law in the States. He and Alice are doing well, and they have plenty of food. Subash is using all of the technological devices he can to communicate with the church he pastors.
