Primary Course Description
Motto: To Equip U for the Missions - The Great Commission
This is a passport to Christian Maturity. As you complete the suggested training or activities, your passport will receive a stamp and be initialed by a leader.
The curriculum is designed to give you all the tools you need to grow in your knowledge of the WORD and the fear and admonition of God.

Pre-membershipThese sessions lay the foundation for every prospective member, so you know what we believe. The topics are, 1. Salvation 2. Prayer 3. Church Discipline 4. Stewardship 5. Missions. – These 5 sessions are offered on a rotating schedule.
Foundational Membership These sessions lay the foundation for every member. The topics are, 1. Salvation 2. Prayer 3. Church Discipline 4. Stewardship 5. Missions. – These 5 sessions are offered on a rotating schedule. * This is offered again for those too young to complete Pre-membership when they joined with parents or those wanting a refresher.
I’m a Christian NowTeaches children how to become a Christian, how to follow Jesus’ example, how to share their testimony, and how to be a believer. It is a comprehensive eight-week study for helping children understand the decision they have made. Each week focuses on a new topic that includes daily information and application activities. This is for ages 6-12. There are 8 sessions offered as needed.
Spiritual Gifts Assessment A tool to help each person assess and understand how God has gifted them to serve the Body of Christ. – Two sessions.
Biblical Hermeneutics The study of the principles, theories, and methodology of biblical interpretation. How do we “rightly divide the Word of truth” so that we say what it says and not what we would like it to say. These 5 sessions will be offered twice annually.
Teacher Training “The Seven Laws of the Teacher” by Howard Hendricks is a video series. These are proven methods of teaching with a life changing impact. This is offered for those with the gift of teaching or seeking to teach, and/or prospective leaders. Offered as needed. There are 7 video sessions available at any time. Evangelism Training Learn about the various tools to share your faith with others in the classroom, at work, and in the community as you build relationships. Various trainings will be scheduled annually.
MissionsContextual orientations are given to those joining a short-term international mission trip. We are currently partnering in Ecuador and India. Listen for registration dates.
Written TestimonyLearn how to share your three-part conversion story with others. Two sessions (write it & share it). Note: This is required for mission trips.
Experiencing GodA 12-week series that will challenge you to respond to the invitations God offers to know Him, His purposes, His ways and join Him in His work. This is offered 3X annually.
The Bible in One YearThe goal is to read through the Bible in one year. – Based on the “Honor System” with God as your accountability partner.
Manhood and WomanhoodThese are book reviews/studies that have been approved by leadership that may be recognized under EQUIP U.
Book ExamplesThe Titus Ten-Men and Forgiving What You Can’t Forget-Women; 70%+ attendance is required.
Re:generation This is a care and recovery ministry that is 50-week (39 weeks of groundwork) program. Re:gen walks participants through the 12 steps of biblical healing in the context of authentic community. There is no quick fix for life’s brokenness. Instead, through consistent, committed discipleship based on God’s Word, countless people have uncovered and found freedom from struggles like substance abuse, codependency, pornography, eating disorders, pride, depression, fear, control, emotional/physical abuse, same-sex attraction, people-pleasing, anger, obsessive thoughts, and more." – This will be offered twice per year.
